Michael Lamb

Michael E. Lamb, an attorney in the Public Finance and Government Services group at McNees, brings nearly 40 years of experience serving Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and multiple publicly funded entities, developing solutions for clients across multiple areas of public policy, law, finance and public affairs. Michael helps clients navigate the complexities of politics and government at the local, county and state levels; establishing and fostering extensive contacts with individuals and organizations across the commonwealth; and generating public finance, development, planning and other opportunities with governments, authorities and agencies.

Michael possesses a keen understanding of the legal, regulatory, political and financial processes specific to getting things done in government. He is intimately familiar with matters related to financing of public projects and the transactions that support the development and maintenance of public infrastructure and services. With his vast public policy and legal experience and his extensive community and government contacts, he crafts real solutions for his clients.

Michael joined McNees in December 2023 after serving for 16 years as the City of Pittsburgh’s Controller. In Pittsburgh, he co-founded The Congress of Neighboring Communities (CONNECT) and serves on the boards of 3 Rivers Wet Weather and Literacy Pittsburgh.
